March Glossybox Review

This months Glossybox just arrived in the post this morning. Lovely pink box full of goodies wrapped up in tissue paper and tied with a bow. The theme this month was get glowing and it contained 6 beauty items instead of the usual 5, which was nice.

The first item in the box was

Luxie Large Rose Gold angled face brush (number 504).

They must have known i was replacing all my make up brushes! And my favorite color is pink so love this. This is a contour brush and the bristles are soooo soft and fluffy which makes this a breeze for applying make up. This is also a cruelty free brand, which is an added bonus. I was unable to find anywhere in Ireland that stocks this brand and this brush retails for £10.42/ $16.00 and you can get it here.

So Susan Light Diffuser Illuminator & Bronzer duo

I got this in the  shade cocoa dust. It is really hard to open the packaging but upon opening it a matt contour powder on one side and a shimmering champagne coloured highlighter, the colours are actually very natural even though they look quite dark in the pot. The contour powder has a really nice tone, i’m looking forward to trying this out with my new Luxie brush, as i love to contour. This is also a cruelty free brand. However the one negative thing i have to add about this product is that the pans of both products are very close together (about the size of an eyeshadow pot) and quite small which makes it very difficult to get the product onto the brush without getting both products together. This retails at £14.00, Again i could not find stockists in Ireland but you can get it here.

Hey Honey Good Morning Honey Silk Facial Serum

This is a travel size tube and i haven’t used it yet. It contains honey and propolis and claims to protect the skin and leave you with a glowing complexion. The serum is a yellowish honey colour and i’m looking forward to trying this out and letting you all know how i found it. The full size retails at £28.81/ $41.00 and you can get it here.

Olay Regenerist Luminous skin tone perfecting cream

This was disappointing. It is a similar product to the Hey Honey serum, so why they felt they had to put in 2 of much the same product im not sure. Also it is only a 7ml Sample c’mon that is not enough to  test for long enough to see does it actually do what it claims. I use Olay products quite a lot and can pick them up  at my local supermarket so this is not a beauty treat for me at all. I will probably save this for my travel bag for over the summer. It does claim to fade the look of discoloration and dark spots so if this does work would be great but for the amount included in the Glossybox and the similarity to the above product it is quite disappointing. The full size product retails for €39.99 at boots, you can get it here.

-417 Catharsis vitamin mineral shampoo and Conditioner

It was nice to recieve both shampoo and conditioner however, i’m not sure about this brand. I have used it and it has made my hair very dry, especially the ends. Maybe it just doesn’t suit my hair type,  im not sure. Also not sure about the smell  of this product. It does smell quite masculine. Anyway it was nice to try out this product as i had never heard of them before but i won’t be re purchasing these products. The full size products retail for £16.89 each according to the card that accompanied the box, however, i cannot seem to source these at all.

So there you have it, This months Glossybox. My favorite has to be the Luxie Brush. You can sign up to Glossybox Here, it’s £10.00 plus P&P  (or €19.00 incl. P&P), but a lovely box of goodies delivered to your door every month. Gotta Love it.

Are you signed up to Glossybox? I would love to hear your opinions on this months box.
